Carpentry & trim
This is the part he's spent 30 years perfecting.
Everything on this site, Ken does well. Carpentry is the one he's a master of. Three decades in the carpenters union, most of them as superintendent, and it shows in every joint, miter, and reveal.

The superintendent standard
Measured twice, cut once, checked again
A superintendent's job is catching what everyone else misses before the inspector does. Ken brings that eye to your trim: tight miters, consistent reveals, doors that close with one finger, caulk lines you don't notice because they're right. It's the difference between work that looks fine on day one and work that still looks right in year ten.

Ask before he cuts
The details matter
Can you match my home's existing trim?
Usually, yes. Ken can match most standard and historic profiles, and when a profile is truly custom he'll tell you what it takes to get it milled rather than installing something close enough.
Do you build custom built-ins and shelving?
Yes. Measured for your wall, built square, and anchored properly. Send him a photo of what you're picturing and he'll tell you what it takes.
Do you paint or stain the finished work?
No. Ken doesn't paint. He leaves everything filled, sanded, and ready for your painter, and he can recommend one if you need a name.
Is any job too small?
No. One sticking door counts. Small carpentry problems are exactly what this business exists for.
